About She Hit Me First

Fusing the power of punk with the finesse of pop SHE HIT ME FIRST put their stake in the ground as an edgy and energetic guitar based foursome from London, England. The band features Canadian Andy on lead vocals and guitars, powerhouse Gareth on guitars, versatile bassist Jake, and solid, creative rock drummer James.

Founding members Andy and Gareth came together through a mutual love of classic punk and post-hardcore bands, quickly finding like-minded musicians in James and Jake to complete the line-up. Their sound is characterised by the driving verses and larger-than-life feel of the songs, complemented by the punchy and addictive sing-along choruses.

Following their debut EP 'Drive Like You Stole It', the band's latest release, 'Excuses and Likely Stories' shows the band on sparkling form, fusing Andy's pop sensibilities with Gareth's darker, more melodic side to create a record guaranteed to get your foot tapping and your head bobbing.
