Fusing the power of punk with the finesse of pop SHE HIT ME FIRST put their stake in the ground as an edgy and energetic guitar based foursome from London, England. The band features Canadian Andy on lead vocals and guitars, powerhouse Gareth on guitars, New Zealander Clay on bass guitar and solid, creative rock drummer James.
Founding members Andy and Gareth came together through a mutual love of classic punk and post-hardcore bands and quickly found like-minded musicians in Clay and James to complete the line-up. Their sound is characterised by the driving verses and larger-than-life sound of the songs, complimented by the punchy and addictive sing-along choruses.
Following their debut EP 'Drive Like You Stole It', the band's latest release, 'Excuses and Likely Stories' shows the band on sparkling form, fusing Andy's pop sensibilities with Gareth's darker more melodic side to create a record guaranteed to get your foot tapping and your head bobbing.
