Observing where life is taking me, especially over time. Knowledge. Music.
Music
Hard Rock, Metal, Alternative, Grunge, just about anything as long as it's got a good sound. Don't have to know the band, or the songs, as long as the talent is there, it blows me away.
Movies
Braveheart. Lord of the Rings. Hats off to the cinematographers.
Art. Music. Both have brilliant minds focused on expressing something that goes beyond the ordinary seen or experienced in life. Threads of me are tied within each.
My all-time favorite band is Pink Floyd. Who can reflect life through lyrics and music better than they did? Animals was my first album I bought, and I still love it, especially "Dogs." Kind of explains alot of mindsets in this world.
Who I'd like to meet: ...People who can reflect on this world we live in or things that happen in our days without an agenda to take it to a personal (sexual) level. Being on MySpace is not about that for me.
Kim Basinger: Simply a beautiful woman, inside and outside.
Jerry Cantrel: who (with the other members of Alice in Chains) writes music that speaks to the soul. [picture copyright Laure Capsuto, Hard Rock Cafe, 10-25-07]
Alanis Morrisette: a woman who expresses the inexpressible in her songs:
Hi Sheila, I am thinking of you and your family. I hope all is well with you. Thank you for the comment! I really appreciate it.I am not feeling good and found out today I have someother potential problems besides allergies. I am scared. :(
Floating. swirling gracefully, Like a whisper in the wind; A silent peaceful prescence; The angels Heaven sends. Dazzling brilliant flashes, Illuminate the night, AS Heavenly host soar to and fro, Clothed in shimmering light.
Wings outspread in splendor, They glide among the clouds, As angels dance across the night skies. Their laughter rings out loud. The laughter falls from heaven. A joy filled harmony; Then sprinkles down upon the earth, An angels melody.
A laughter sent to soothe the heart, To calm the restless soul; God's gift of angels to mankind, Sent to make them whole. The laughter of the angels, That joy filled harmony; Sprinkles down upon the earth, An angel's melody.
LOL You are funny! It takes time to grow.4-5 days or longer depending on the soil, the water and the depth of the seed. I am sorry Sheila...but I am laughing at you. Now, the rabbits may eat it when it comes up, but not before. Time and patience...and when you see green, get excited (unless it's a weed of course, but don't pull it in case it isn't a weed) I've had many gardens and it seems like forever, but they do grow!
Sheila, Sheila, Sheila...it takes time LOL. They don't sprout arms and legs overnight. Quit stressing and worrying...Again, let your garden grow! And if all else fails, we'll come visit and bring a few cold beers and talk to the little guys. Not that it would do any good, but would make us feel better. LOL
LOL I wish my kids would listen to me as well as you did. Don't worry, you'll have a wonderful garden to share with many family and friends! Send me pics when it starts to sprout! Hang in there and let mother nature take care of it.
Count me in! Although the way this bunch eats...there might not be anything left to bring home...lol But that means we'll just have to help you plant more!
