Shelley Parker is a London based artist working with sound/music/image.

Over the past year she has focused on audio production in terms of remixes and sound installations. Her most recent work includes 'Consume' in the pop-up store Man-Made during Frieze 2008 and 'Cast' at The Cast Courts at the Cold War Modern exhibition at the V & A. 2009 will see her launch her own label Structure as a platform for artists working with field recordings and experimental approaches to working with audio.

In addition she has co-promoted a number of club events including ‘Nerd’ where she made her debut as a DJ. As a progression from this night she was taken on by the Haywire agency and began to DJ around the UK and Europe in venues such as Fabric, The End and even Tate Britain. In 2007 she launched her own night Structure, a free monthly electronic event showcasing a cross-section of DJ’s and live performances: all chosen for their integrity and alliance to electronic music.

As a photographer, she has exhibited in a number of alternative gallery spaces including Browns Focus, Great Eastern Hotel and Kokon to Zai. She has also been commissioned by musicians/bands and style magazines including I-D, GQ, The Face, Time Out and contributed to 'The Scream' by Kris Needs - a publication about Primal Scream.
