I'm a fan of the romantic movies. I'm a hopeless romantic. My favorite movie of all time is "A Room With a View." If you haven't seen it, get it. I also love romantic comedies set in New York City..."When Harry Met Sally," "You've Got Mail," yada yada yada. Other movies that come to mind when I think of all-time favorites? "Purple Rain," "Cooley High," "Sixteen Candles," most of the Spike Lee Joints, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," all of "The Planet of the Apes" movies, "Brown Sugar," anything with Denzel Washington ('I'm the police, King Kong ain't got nothin' on me!')...LOVE HIM!!!..."Forest Gump," "Love Jones" (by the way, this movie has probably THE sexiest soundtrack EVER. If you wanna get somebody in the mood, play that soundtrack for them!), any old Marilyn Monroe movie, any old Doris Day movie, any old Cary Grant movie, any old footage of Dorothy Dandridge and Josephine Baker. Love old romantic comedy movies from the 50s and 60s...especially the ones set in New York City.
Television
Currently, I'm diggin' Oprah (of course), Food Network's Ina Garten (the Barefoot Contessa, love her!), "Cold Case Files" on A&E, "Grey's Anatomy", "Ugly Betty" and TMZ (just to stay up on my Pop Culture).
Books
I tend to enjoy reading books like biographies of entertainers. Other than biographies, books that really impacted my life were books like "The Bluest Eye" by Toni Morrison, "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe and "Incidents In The Life Of A Slave Girl" by Harriet Jacobs. Those are all powerful books that you just have to read if you get the chance. By the way, my company told me that I have to include the following...
