About me: It's been sometime since I updated my ABOUT ME. I thought I would give it a shot. I just finished watching a video Dom sent me, from 2001. So many memories came back. You try to grab them, and they go as quickly as they came. I am missing out on the Smokies this year. Two reasons. We just moved into our new house, and because of the baby that will be here shortly. A new home will drain you of your finances, and a growing fetus will drain you of all energy. This morning, I had a few minutes to kill before I went into work. I grabbed a coffee from McDonald's drive thru. I parked in the lot for a bit, and reclined my seat. I cracked the window, and just listened. There were seagulls flying about. Grabbing every abandoned french frie they could find. I closed my eyes for a minute and found myself on the beach. I am not kidding you. It felt that real. Of course, until the honking goose flew over interupting the ocean breeze. I am slowling realizing that nothing in my life will ever be the same after June. I guess nothing in your life is really ever the same the minute the previous day passes. I am just saying. I find I still do things out of routine that I have done for literally 20 years. I will put a song on repeat, until it needs to be put out of it's misery. I still pray at night, starting out with the same saying...."dear God, Cookie, Brandy, Sue, Dad, and Uncle Dale..." Names have been added in the years, but I don't miss one night. The other night a telemarketer called. It was the 10th one that night. I was getting so frustrated. He started his speach, and I quickly add in.."Sir, please take us off your DO NOT CALL LIST!" In my rush to get my point out, I messed it up. I should have said "Please PUT us on your do not call list." So I am expecting many more phone calls about a clean chimney, even though we don't even have a chimney. That's all I have for now. My eyes are tired, and I can't feel my fingers anymore.
Who I'd like to meet: Bob Barker as he is announcing the following...."Shelly, you will have the chance to win up to $50,000 playing PLINKO!" (the crowd goes wild) And I do it, I win the 4 other chips, and slide them all into the $10,000 slot! YES! WINNER!!
So Ive come to grips that half of A-town has moved to Plainfield. I was on the web looking for Free Things to Do in Plainfield when I click on a site that said Living in Plainfield. It so happens that your sisters face was all over this site and in fact was her site. Well any way I thought Small world:) VERY CUTE BABY!!! VERY CUTE!!! CONGRATS
Thank you..it is hard to believe that they are already 7 months old. They told me before they were born that they were faternal but since they have been born I have talked to a couple of twin moms who were told the same thing but in fact their twins were identical. Even their pediatrician said that they really could be but the only way to find out is through some really expensive blood work up that insurance usually does not cover so I figure that it really isn't that important. Lucy is such a little doll..I love the pictures Julie took of her. We should get together sometime and let the girls play and we can catch up and swap mommy stories. Talk you later.
Barks how are you busy Mama! Hope everything is good. I bet Lucy is just getting bigger by the hour!! I left a message at your house Wednesday, just hoping you got it! Talk to you later, have a nice weekend.......Chris and Juliah are going to a Highschool graduation party today, and lucky me I get to go to WORK! BLAH!
How is Lucy doing? How r u doing? See your dealin with the smell of PUKE! Still can't get use to it, Juliah has had a fever the last couple days due to some teeth coming in, and she was in bed with us last night and puked all over me! NICE... Just got home from her dance class, and I need a nap. I think I sweat more than she did just chasing her before she knocked one of her fellow dance mates with her craqy twirls!
