I had a feeling it was you Nick. The stuff you were doing when you lived at Barkly was quite different, less electronic and more guitar-ey I guess.

Yeah, I had fun with that stocking. I think it adds quite a bit of charm, on the dancefloor at least. I probably shouldn't make a trip to the local bank with it on though, I doubt it would be looked on as favourably.

1st track actually made me think of Fennesz's Mego label mate Pita, particularly one track that I heard him play at What Is Music Festival years ago that was a nice sounding piece of music that gradually got obliterated by noise and I found quite mind blowing at the time. I can't remember what it is called but it was on a disc with a blue cover. 2nd track could be Eno or something. Maybe like Gavin Bryars "Sinking of the Titanic." Or Francisco Lopez.

Coooooool music, the noise and harmonic elements of Ferris Wheel co-exist so beautifully, it instantly reminded me of Fennesz.

The second one has a warm, woozy Boards of Canada meets Brian Eno feel to it.

Keep it up!

peace

Ryan
