Born in the heart of Texas and raised in the small farm community of Clovis, New Mexico, Shelly Starks' love for music, especially country music, began taking shape at a young age. What started out as singing on her church pew, merged into a full blown passion! Shelly debuted her first co-written album in May of 2009 and she hasn't looked back since! Performing with Country Music Superstars such as Andy Griggs, Jeff Bates, Larry Stewart (Restless Heart), Cody McCarver, Grammy winner, Bryan White & John Michael Montgomery, Shelly's fan base spans across the United States & has now reached more than 25 countries around the world! Partnering with Grammy winning Producer, Ray Barnette, Shelly is making plans to release a new EP (3 song CD) in the fall of 2011! Partnering with Grammy® winning producer Ray Barnette, Shelly released her 1st single "To Be A Woman" with a flip side, "Battle Scars" (written by Shelly Starks, Carmen Taylor & Chad Roland) in February of 2012. Both songs released worldwide and immediately started charting on iTunes and Amazon! Shelly is expected to release her 2nd single in late Spring of 2013 with her album releasing soon after!!
