I am having a very difficult time coming to grips with Michael's death. It was so out-of-the-blue and unexpected. I just had a conversation with my best friend a couple of weeks ago in which I said that I was praying that his shows in London were such a hit that he opened it up for a U.S. tour so that I could see him perform live. I had such great faith that those shows and the work he was currently doing would shut the mouths of all those people who doubted his ability to jumpstart his career again. I know he would have shown the world why we all fell in love with him as a little boy and later as the king of pop. No one will ever match Michael's greatness. They might as well not even try. Think about the impact he has had, not only on music, but on dance and music videos. If that isn't enough, what he did with his music, his dancing and his videos inspired the creativity and imagination of future artists for generations. You can see influences of Michael in many different genres and in many different areas of entertainment. Even though he didn't get to once again light the world on fire with his amazing talent, it doesn't matter. It doesn't change the mark he has already made on this world.  I could go on and on about what a remarkable person he was, and what an amazing entertainer he was, and I don't think it matters what happened in his personal life. Whether you believe the accusations made against him or not, no one can deny that he was and will forever be an icon, one-of-a-kind, force of nature who moonwalked his way into our hearts. RIP Michael . . . You will be missed.
