sHeM, uneducated, alone, a dish washer, worked in an East Los Angeles, Mexican food restaurant. Unmotivated and uninspired, his fingers pruned, his belly big, the tedium of his menial labor job seemed endless. Hope was a privilege, a privilege he could not afford.
One day, as he took out the trash to the urine soaked, fly swarmed alley dumpster, he was attacked, blind folded and kidnapped by a horde of unruly, disenfranchised, group of action figures. Theses plastic heroes were tired of being sold by corporations who used the sweat of Chinese peasants forced to work twenty three hours a day for slave wages in bleak, humid filled, toy factories; thus, the action figures rebelled and declared their emancipation.
Frightened and fatigued, sHeM was taken to an empty graffiti filled cave, an abandoned baboon exhibit at the Los Angeles Zoo. He was trained by the action figures, they reprogrammed him, resurrected him, revitalized him. They provided literature, philosophy, history, musical instruments, laptop computers, paints, pigments, and a Bowflex machine.
sHeM emerged from the cave forty days and forty nights later, given a purpose, enlightened and carved of marble; a minstrel was born, a mentor for the masses that could not be silenced.
With his action figure militia by his side, he travels the land, spitting the gospel of equality and tolerance to the people; the world would forever be changed.

My best friend Mark Williams (a.k.a.) Admiral Kirk needs your vote to win a Star Trek: TOS Captain's Chair in the final round of the Roddenberry. com's 2008 Member of the Year contest. Mark and I "Gary (a.k.a.) Mr. Spock" are best known for our "Kirk And Spock" shows that we put on at conventions. The 2008 STARBASE INDY convention on Thanksgiving weekend featured us as part of their main entertainment. We had performed "Spock's Brain". I hope that we can get the video of our performance on YouTube in the near future. Another great reason to vote for Mark is that I only live a few miles from his house! After all, I have been and always shall be his friend.
