A few of my favorite things are color, fashion, sketching, shopping, reading etc.
I love tea, my favorites are minty green, milky black and sweet chamomile.
Currently, I work as an admin assistant at a small architectural firm. That sounds nice and fancy but it's just a regular job. It's not what I want to do for a living.
My plans for school are to learn sewing and fashion design skills. I want to make pretty clothes and express myself artistically.
I like weird stuff.
I work to live, I don't live to work.
I am always open to try new things and meet new friends. Especially if they will dress up and go to tea parties with me.
no... they wouldnt. I'll make my friends in cali go do it when i go visit them. they would like it xD everyone here in colorado sucks ass. they are so lame
Well, I never thought I looked that feminine in the first place, so I figured it would be okay.
I called Kmart today and the interviewer said that she was still considering through all the interview applicants. I should know by next Tuesday if I got the job or not. I really hope it works out this time.
I see. I'm not really into the whole "looking cute" thing, so....
Besides, if I do do it, it'll be a long time from now since I have to lose about 60 pounds, cut my hair, etc. (Oh, did the fact that I would technically crossdressing creep you out? Because I hadn't though of that when I first said it.)
Blatch, I didn't say we could end our comment war just cause I was being a weeaboo. (But, if it makes you feel uncomfortable or something, I'll stop. I'll keep it "normal".)
I've never wanted to do it before because of the hassle as well. Plus, it's not flattering to have a fat girl running around Anime Expo as some thin guy. D:
I'm not sure. I think it's just gonna be a fun thing to study. Plus, if I ever decide that nursing is not right for me, I could become a translator/interpreter, like you said. Or get my master's and teach at the community college level. (I've always wanted to teach, but I don't wanna deal with the brats in middle school or high school. I'm not good with kids, so elementary school is out =/)
Hah, that's the plan.
I understand. I've never been in the petites section (never had a need to), but I can understand what you're saying. D:
Yeah, it is always nice to dream. I almost wish I had enough courage to follow through "risky industries". I guess my "dream" path is why I'm willing to major in Japanese as well as Nursing. I mean, I know that nobody speaks it around here as much as Spanish and that I'll rarely get a chance to use it unless I live in Japan for a while, but you know, I think it will help enrich my life. Plus, it sounds super fun >D.
Yeah, same here. I think for Cal Grants, a family of three has to make $37,000 a year or less, and my dad made 38 something in 2008. (His yearly salary is always different since he owns his own business.) And! Also another fun thing! My dad is trying to get Mom to pay for child support until we're 21 (which is what she originally agreed to) but she's now under the opinion that it had to stop last month since we're out of high school, 18, etc. Funny how she changes her mind ever since we decided to live here, eh? So, their telephonic court date is today. And, if Dad wins, it benefits my brother and I since we have a little help going to college for the next three years. However, Mom will be pissed. And if it goes the other way...you see the picture. I'm sure that you've felt torn between your two parents before like this. [/rant]
Where can I find one? A man-pillow I mean. They've come in such cute designs lately! xDDD
PS: If you make it in the fashion world, will you also make a kickin' plus-sized line?
Even though going into a risky industry such as fashion isn't for a realist like me, I think it would be good for you. You seem to like fashion enough and want to have more career-based education and not have to deal with a bunch of other academic crap. Plus, you have a strong head on your shoulders; if it doesn't work out, you'll have a back up plan of some sort (hopefully).
I NEED FAFSA SOON ;A;. I spent $327 on my classes, plus whatever the books will be. What's the best way to buy? Online somewhere or pay through the nose at MiraCosta?
I think he just doesn't like the whole area of San Fransisco. He doesn't like Laguna Beach either. >>
I do NOT want to go to Berkeley, anyway. Plus, I looked up on assist.org (a site with college majors; where I narrowed down my list) and it doesn't have the nursing/Japanese combo. Plus, it's expensive. The only good thing I can think about it is that it has a semester system, unlike the rest of the UCs, which have a quarter system.
I want those too. I'm thinking though that I'll only get some new cheapy sheets for the next two years, get whatever sheets the dorms provide me at whatever college I transfer to, and then go ahead and buy me some nice sheets.
Speaking of which, I really need to tour the campuses I narrowed my list down to. My dad also flipped a bitch when I said my farthest school on my list was San Fransisco state (SFSU). He kept going like, "Oh, it's super gay and super liberal up there" and I'm thinking "idc, idc". I'll see how it goes though.
Actually, my bed sheets are kind of nasty. I have to position my clothes in a way that hides the stains. (I really need to get some new ones when I get more money.)
That sounds nice :D~ Mine was good too. Matt, Dad and I went over to Gigi's and had dinner, then me and her watched the fireworks, we slept over, and had a nice breakfast. Then, when Matt and I got home, we had to wash the car. Sham-wows, suck, btw.
