Something new, something exciting, something that takes you to another place. Think of how Shakira rocked you with tunes laced with middle eastern influences. Think of Sting and his Desert Rose. Now put that aside and think of the same ingredients making something totally new; creating a melodic, mystical tune over some rockin' beats and rythms. Don't be too entranced! We still have a lot of work to do! : )

This is my music profile, so a little about that: Singing is my PASSION! Put On stage I forget the world, live truly in the moment! Hours upon hours practicing, singing, writing, in the studio; that's not work, it's like breathing fresh air. Beautiful! Those are the moments you remember. Well, I've been doing that for as long as I can remember. From school choir to international song festivals to awards... all the way to Egyptian Radio...and hopefully into your hearts. Be it singing in Arabic, English, German or French, be it writing a simple blog or a heart wrenching poem, I can lose myself in these times.

Aside from singing, which puts me in heaven, I do have an "earthly" career. ;) I am an advertising executive and love it. See...I still get to dive into your psyche, so what's not to love?! My life is hectic but joyful and exciting. I work hard on anything I do, but play hard as well. Never a dull moment!!!
I've grown up all over the place; my parents moved a lot, traveled a lot, and gave me the chance to see the world with different eyes. A world without boundaries, limits as far as, cultures, distances, languages, kindness and dreams! Thhey are to thank for my drive and attitude towards life. I have an awesome family, great parents and wonderful friends who are indeed also family! And through my constant moves, I've come across some amazing people that have truly left a mark in my life. They prove that you can never meet enough people, because you never know when you are going to come across the next person who is SUPPOSED to come in - permanently or just in passing - and leave a mark that will shape a part of who you are...
My education and a lot of my influences were German until high school, so I consider that culture very dear to my heart, a part of me. Out of my life so far, I lived in Egypt relatively few years, but I was able to go back as an adult and live there from 2005 - April 2007, experiencing another side of Cairo and making some warm acquaintances and friends, learning about the culture...and frankly a lot about myself. I was very worried about this move but once again, God put me through His challenging test of refinement, and I came out a renewed person.
Several years back, after high school in busy Cairo, Egypt, I moved to Lubbock, Texas to go to college. While it was quite a switch from busy city life to smaller sized Lubbock, I fell in lvoe with my school and the people. Since then, Texas became home. If there is such a thing as home for me, this is definitely one! Yes, I am a hardcore Red Raider - but I will forgive you for not being one. ;D
After a brilliant time at TTU and a degree in Advertising with a minor in Marketing, I moved to Dallas to start my very demanding life of an advertising executive, all the while still singing along... until I moved to Cairo, Egypt in 2005 and back to Dallas in April! Some of my friends have moved, some have married, some are still here and made it feel like coming home. Y'all are my strength!
