Jeff & Al have known each other for ages. They met Rob at uni. They formed Sherka in about 2004. Then Del (myspace.com/mistakesinanimation) played drums for them. Then JP from Honeycube (myspace.com/honeycubeband) played drums for them. Finally, a guy called Sam came along, now he plays drums for them, so they've started calling themselves a band.
When it comes to writing music, Sherka like rock bits, pretty bits, and random bits in equal amounts. Into the mix go lots of effects pedals (when they can afford them) and three-part harmonies (when Rob can be bothered to sing).
They're super pumped, flip out lots, and are currently hurricane kicking people sonically in cosy venues across London. They also love you very much. Their forthcoming 'One Day We Will' EP will literally rip your face off, but you'll be so busy flying around and screaming that even you won't notice.

Awesome gig last night, was quite literally blown away, you are now officially my new favourite band, if I could book you every week, I would!
Also, massive respect for keeping it all going when the fuse blew on the mic's, there aren't a lot of bands out there that will carry on regardless, still sound amazing, and keep the crowd going!
Anyway, enough ego boosting! Was a pleasure working with you, and I hope to do it again soon.

I've added one of your tracks to my page, I bloody love it!)
