Hello Everyone!!!! and welcome to my page!! I’m so honored that you’ve stopped by. As a Caribbean artist, this journey has not been easy and I still have such a long way to go. I’m from a tiny country called Antigua and Barbuda and though I live in New York now, my culture is definitely a big part of my music and there is no doubt that I still have that accent thing going on …lol

I started singing at age 13 mostly in church and on my high school choir. Although at first I wanted to be a dancer and for some time I did focus solely on dance, singing was my real true passion. Coming from a strict background, a mom who’s a teacher and a father who was a business man, academics always came first, and in some ways I was forced to put my talents aside for college, but I never gave up. I kept writing and singing, entering talent shows around New York and winning them of course…lol.

Lots of opportunities came my way, like being a guest on the Wendy Williams Experience Talk Show, a meeting with an A&R from Atlantic Records, magazine covers, Winning the Most Promising Female Award at the Underground Music Awards, and a hot single featuring Vybz Kartel. Some of you may already know this, but I’ve been working on my album for the past three years now. After returning from Miss World, where I won the World Talent Award and Miss Universe in 2005, I really felt a need to express myself musically and that’s what led me to record my first album.

I called it “My Way, My Style” because I didn’t follow the music status quo. The songs are a reflection of me in my most creative moments. I did it my way. Although many of you have only heard my more dancehall songs, my album is really a mixture of all types of music. R&B, Pop, Soul are some of the other genres that you can find. Most of the songs were penned by yours truly so I am really sharing that personal side of me with you.

Music is my life and I love putting my feelings and thoughts into song, so I hope my music does touch you in some way. I look forward to hearing from you, your thoughts and feelings, your continued support. I couldn’t do any of this without you, my loyal fans. Enjoy the album!!!
