I perform my original songs on guitar and piano with vocal. I have written over 375 songs. I play and have taught guitar, alto sax, and bass. I also play piano and harmonica. I play bass in three Indy bands: The Late Showe (Classic Rock), The Bunny Brothers (Classic Rock) and The Phil Lashley Band (Original Rock).
My main musical influence is the Beatles, both as a group and individually. My favorite Beatle was John Lennon. My favorite ex-Beatle is Paul McCartney. The Beatles by far have been my musical passion. Other musical influences have been Badfinger, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Billy Joel, the Beach Boys, Jim Croce and Chicago. Today I like Weezer, Nirvana, Green Day. I prefer Contemporary Christian Rock (Third Day, Bebo Norman), but I listen to most genres.
