Sherman Doucette, a staple of the Vancouver music scene for 30 years, is rated as one of the best blues singer / harp players in the business. His past credits include guest appearances with John Lee Hooker, Albert Colins, Pine Top Perkins, Sunnyland Slim, Long John Baldry and many other blues legends.
He has sung and played on TV and Radio commercials for McDonalds, Labatts, Growers Cider, Reno Holidays and other recordings featured on television shows on BCTV, UTV, Rogers, Shaw, CBC's On The Road Again and Country Beat.
Host to many of Vancouver's most successful blues jams including the Yale Hotel, The Fairview and the Max. Former harp & soul of Vancouver blues band, Incognito, 18 years which recorded three CDs two compilations still featured on blues radio through out North America.
Today with a great new blues band, TANKful of Blues captured on brand new CD titled Harp & Soul, Doucette continues to perform with all the passion and conviction few can deliver.
