About me: I'm a 38 year old school librarian from the Tampa Bay area of Florida. I've been married since 1993 and I have an 11 year old son. My son Joey was born with a congenital heart defect called subaortic stenosis and has had two open heart surgeries at All Children's Hospital in St Petersburg, one on 09/13/01 and one on 05/18/06. Despite his heart defect, he has excelled in school and has made all A's every grading period since Kindergarten. He is also in the advanced choir at his school and is the center of my world! When I'm not at work, I can usually be found in my regular uniform of Levis, a vintage concert shirt and either Doc Martens or Chuck Taylor low tops on my feet. I am a near fanatical follower of the mighty University of South Florida Bulls football team and can often be found at their games. My dream is to follow Meat Loaf and the Neverland Express across the country on tour, I've been able to do a bit of that, contained within the state of Florida and had a great time.
