| General | They're mostly sedentary interests: reading, writing, watching TV/movies, visiting my cyber-friends on their blogs. I enjoy seeing new places, but am very happy to get home again.
Of course, since I live in beautiful southern Arizona, being home isn't exactly a hardship!
| | Music | My tastes in music are very eclectic. I like Creed, Smashmouth, Staind, Godsmack, Dave Matthews Band, Neil Diamond, Enya, the Carpenters, Stevie Ray Vaughn, CCR, Steppenwolf, anything Celtic, pretty much anything from the 70s and 80s. When I'm in the mood for it, I enjoy Big Band, jazz, country, and light classical.
| | Movies | Casino Royale, Phantom of the Opera, Dracula Dead and Loving It, Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein, Arsenic and Old Lace, Underworld, X-Men and X-Men2 (X-3 I haven't decided yet, even after all this time. Just about everybody died. Phfft), Waking Ned Devine, French Kiss, The Italian Job, The Count of Monte Cristo (the remake with Jim Caviezel), and The Dream Team.

I enjoy watching the Discovery Channel and the History Channel--especially Wild West Tech.
Some of my favorite old shows are Diagnosis: Murder, Murder She Wrote, Alias Smith & Jones, Kindred, Dark Shadows (the remake with Ben Cross as Barnabas Collins), Starsky & Hutch, The Avengers, Star Trek TNG, Barney Miller, Quincy MD, The Odd Couple, The Carol Burnett Show, and Remington Steele.
| | Books | I really enjoy reading romance and fantasy, some science fiction and horror, and anything to do with vampires, werewolves, and Jack the Ripper.
One of the best writer's books is Stephen King's On Writing. If you're a writer and haven't read this book, you should!

About me:
This site is for people 18 years old and older.
ABOUT ME: I have always loved reading romance novels--what can I say? I'm a sucker for happy endings! I briefly toyed with the idea of writing for publication back in 1998-1999, and had a couple of short stories published in now-defunct magazines. Then in 2000 I moved to Arizona, took a very demanding, time-consuming, stressful job and had no energy for anything else.
Somehow, my love of writing was able to claw its way back to the surface, and in April 2005 I took an online "How to Write Erotic Romance" class, hosted by Jan Springer. The rest, as the saying goes, is history.
Having decided that the day-job (Human Resources VP) was slowly but surely killing me, I sold my house and made the decision to live off of the profits for one year while I wrote full-time. I resigned on September 1st, 2005, signed my first contract eight days later, and haven't looked back!
Of course, now I'm working a day job again, and it went full-time in December '06. I went part-time again in September '07 and hope to be able to continue to focus the bulk of my energy on my writing career. Wish me luck!
I'm thrilled to say I've signed a three-book deal with Kensington Brava for an erotic paranormal trilogy. The first book, Daring the Moon, came out January 2009, and book two, Seducing the Moon, comes out the end of July 2009!
