| General | Writing, reading, travel, cooking-- especially chocolate chip cookies and roasted chicken (yum!). I also like beading and I'm interested in learning to crochet for real (not what I currently do) and spin and weave (also, not like I currently do, but on an actual wheel and loom!). | | Music | I'm all over the place. Mostly I listen to mixed cds made by my good friend Ren. She's got me digging the New Bohemians, Blur and Dizzee Rascal. My other mix-cd buddy, T, gives me Ani Di Franco, Dar Williams, and Tom Waits (hooray!). | | Movies | Children of Men. That's all I'm saying for 2006 and 2007. There's so much more, but this one got short shrift at the Oscars. Children of Men. See it. | | Television | The strike is over...but books still rule. Read a book! | | Books | i just read David Wellington's 99 Coffins, continuing my zombie/vampire/horror kick. I'm currently reading The Amulet of Samarkand, the first book in Jonathan Stroud's Bartimaeus trilogy. It's great fun. In comics, I'm still reading BPRD, Fables, Daredevil, Jack of Fables and a bunch of other stuff that comes my way. | | Heroes | Superman. Spiderman. Batman. Wonder Woman. My mom. Did I mention Spiderman. I love that guy! |
