Where roots run deep and a heritage stands tall, Sherry grew up just outside of small town Pierre, South Dakota. Her grandparents would play the piano and sing old west tunes to her. The youngest of four, she would listen to Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Jessi Colter, and Patsy Cline as she drove tractors on their ranch. She was quiet and independant, a cowgirl, and a rodeo champion. As soon as she got a license to drive, she would roll out of town with nothing but her pickup and a trailer full of horses and a song...well lots of songs. Emerging into city lights with a new found sound of rock and roll and blues. So many influences. So many towns. Each time Sherry would return home to a packed jam session where her mom would circle the room playing every instrument. Sherry learned to play drums from her brother and sang harmony with her two older sisters then taught herself how to play guitar.
A unique composition of whispering grace and a wild west shootout. She thinks women can be strong as an oak tree but soft as a wild wood flower, and can dress accordingly. There's nothing wrong with wearing a silk corset under a pearl snap denim shirt. Women are simply complicated and that's why you'll hear so many different sounds, different angles, different perspectives in her writing. Slipping into boots with spurs one day and high heels the next, she flies to Nashville regularly to now meet with co-writers. Currently living on a ranch in Wyoming with her husband and two children, they have many animals and one happens to be a pet coyote. Like a pendulum bouncing between a coyote calling priarie to a rocking stadium...everchanging...emerging into your city lights. Sherry Ann Taylor.

My Christmas Wish For You !
My Christmas wish for you, my friend !
Is not a simple one
For I wish you hope and joy and peace
Days filled with warmth and sun
I wish you love and friendship too
Throughout the coming year
Lots of laughter and happiness
To fill your world with cheer
May you count your blessings, one by one
And when totaled by the lot
May you find all you've been given
To be more than what you sought
May your journeys be short, your burdens light
May your spirit never grow old
May all your clouds have silver linings
And your rainbows pots of gold
I wish this all and so much more
May all your dreams come true
May you have a Merry Christmas friend
And a happy New Year, too ..
I wish you a merry Christmas !
Peace, love and light to you and your family always.
With great respect, Your Friend Bob.
