I also have a long-time love of George Michael's music, again because of his amazing voice. | | Movies | Little Miss Sunshine, the 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean, Miss Potter, Crash, Driving Lessons. | | Television | What About Brian, Grey's Anatomy sometimes, anything with a crime element but I still love NYPD Blue. I watch The First 48 for its realism. Leaves other reality TV for dead! (literally) | | Books | Anything, but mostly crime fiction and great children's and YA fiction. | | Heroes | None. I don't believe in the word - way too overused in the media. |

About me:
I'm a writer - mostly of children's and YA fiction, but I also write articles, poetry and short stories. In my secret other writer's life, I'm trying to write a crime novel.
I teach creative writing at Victoria University in Melbourne - that's the job that pays the bills! I like this job much better than working in an office, being a librarian or waitressing at Pizza Hut (some of the many jobs I've had over the years).
