I like scrap booking, horse back riding, swimming, boating,playing volleyball,tether ball, I love going to the movies and dining out with my husband, friends and family. Anything that has to do with my family I really love !

About me: I am the extremely happy wife of David McDowell (for over 32 years) and the mother of our 8 children. I do not feel like I am well into my 50's, so it must be true that "kids make you feel young".
SO if you want to stay young you better have a herd of them. LOL. Our family has a country/southern rock band called Sweet Water Junction Band...it is a family tradition from 1949 to present. We all have a blast with music. We have our differences at times but it's said that a family that prays together stays together, well we play and pray together so we should be together for all of time LOL. I have been blessed to have always been a homemaker and am very contented about that. I thank God everyday for the many blessings he has put into my life.
