Sheryl Amour's Boston, Massachusetts-based trio was formed in 1999 by Sheryl Amour (vocals, bass), and Billy Claire (guitar), following a musical collaboration that spanned five plus years.
It's first incarnation, formerly known as the band name, little white lies, was joined by Tommy Gonzalez (drums) in 2001, and the trio became complete. Based on her songwriting, Sheryl Amour’s band’s influences range from Tori Amos to Britrock bands, Coldplay, and Stereophonics.
With a warm, inviting presence, Sheryl's voice wraps around you, luring you through songs that are well crafted, with memorable hooks and choruses, strung together by a familiar thread of universal themes. Add the melodic, lush, and powerful guitar playing of Billy, with the tight and focused drumming of Tommy, and you have the trio’s sound.
