Hi there...My names Jen,and a HUGE Welcome to Our Space...Thought I'd better write a bit of something in this space since most of the band members we had a year ago, no longer exist....As far as myself goes, I have always been in the Music Industry as far back as 1979 and had the awesome opportunity to support pretty much all the Major Aussie Artists and Bands while touring in my COVER BAND, KOOL CHANGE...I retired in 1992 to have our children and to be a hands on Mum, and returned again with Tony, my partner's band, HILLBILLY DIX & a few Months later also started up SHE SAID, our Duo...I must say that I'm enjoying my experience as a vocalist these days MUCH more than back in the 80'S and feel so privileged to still be able to perform Live....
TONY REYNOLDS BASS & LEAD VOCALS Has been around since the late 70'S Doing the Club & Pub Circuit doing HARD ROCK, TOP 40 & COUNTRY and supported & performed with some brilliant Aussie artists...He's also an accomplished ACOUSTIC GUITARIST & BANJO player, and is Currently writing his own Material, which we'll definitely post as soon as they come to hand...
DALE ROBINS LEAD GUITAR & VOCALS is one the most brilliant players I've heard anywhere..Tony's words.."MR MAESTRO ON THE AXE"...His versatility and passion makes him an amazing Musician to work with & a nice guy...When he wants to be...LOL...Joking... CHRIS HARTLEY KEYBOARDS ...well what Can I say about CHRIS....Always in demand particularly for Backing well known artists around the country so when we can get Chris to grace our stage we feel honoured!!!!lol....Brilliantly versatile and pull any sound, and play anything!!!!...and as Witty as Hell!!!!...Very entertaining in everyway and never a dull moment... RANDAL TERRENS KEYBOARDS & VOCALS is Just simply wonderful....Love his playing and would be the best Keys player I have EVER Worked with!!!!...Randal is also in great demand both on stage and Studio Recordings and an all round Versatile Musician...WE LOVE YOU RANDAL!!!!..LOL.. RICK SMITH DRUMS Probably one of the most respected drummers around Queensland who's rock solid drive and punch pushes HILLBILLY DIX along brilliantly...Another much in demand Musician who really makes that "ENGINE ROOM COOK".. Ya Peper is cool. He is like a dog too. He likes to retrive his little ball. And he does what I tell him to do. He goes around with me in the yard as I do yard work and does not mind loud noise. He is the fastest cat I have ever seen.

Starting my new part time job today, a good one. Got laid off just before Thanksgiving, and am done with the mortgage buz, too much stress and too unstable. So will be working from home on my new Blackberry phone from Titan Homes, will be working the phones setting appts. for appraisals. Will tide me over til I get a good full time gig with benefits. ugh... Still doing my LAURA SIMON SHOW with my band in a box. Much easier, just me playing along with my CD's, going over well. Got a great New Year's Eve gig close to home. Should be a blast! Be blessed and know you are loved, even when I don't check in as often as I wish. Make sure your holiday season is blessed and happy. You might enjoy this! At my show over Thanksgiving, a dear friend I never see came by with her daughter. Angela sang harmony with me on my lst sold out album, FORCE OF NATURE, and her 7 yr old daughter, now 11, was the inspiration for the song. She is hearing the finished tune for the first time. I didn't know some one had grabbed my camera and was filming it, so glad they did. Very cute. Enjoy and be blessed, and send me your happenings soon! Well hello, my fine feathered friend! How are you? Havin a grand time celebrating Thanksgiving here, full of the 3 f's...family, fun and food! LOL! Do you celebrate it there, perhaps not, I would think. But it is a lovely time here. Nice and cold here now, just like I like it. Can you imagine that winter is my favorite season? LOL! Did two turkey dinner yesterday, more than I could handle, and had to work on left overs today. Took a cold ride on Excalibre and had another party today at the barn. Nice to have some time off. Starting a new job in marketing Monday, just wasn't happy in the mortgage buz, which is failing here and very stressful. Mumsy is doing great. Lots of shows, big fun!! Doing the LAURA SIMON SHOW now with my band in a box, so much easier, I love it! Update me with you news, sorry to be so lame about staying in touch. Seem to be on facebook more often than not. Hi Jen Some take a while and some not so long! For the first ever I havn't judged on ourstage and also have had no friend requests on it for weeks where I usually averaged 2-3 a day. I'm not sure I'll spend much more time on it to tell you the truth as it seems like a ghost town ( although if you go to alexa.com which records traffic for all websites and type in ourstage.com the traffic has increased over the last 3 months.
