She Selexx is a new project for Jasmine, Frans, and Trilby.
Jasmine is a Chinese New Zealander living in Australia, who has been making music with pop/rock band Halogen for the last ten years. Other notable collaborations include singing on the Pendulum track "Sound of Life" on their "Hold Your Colour" album (drum 'n' bass), backing vocals for Melbourne band Fourth Floor Collapse, vocals for "Can't let You be lonely" by The Transients (www.myspace.com/thetransientsmusic), Tony Pucci (www.tonypucci.com), as well as looking forward to collaborations with Victor Bermon and Dimitri Kapetas later in 2007.
Her interests are collaboration, reading David Sedaris stories (he is HILARIOUS), watching Shaun of the Dead (the zombie movie) and the SAW horror films, UK programme 'Peep Show', eating yum cha and raw salmon sushi (not together), finding new music to listen to, making her friends happy, finding ways to avoid growing up, writing letters to friends, making long-distance phone calls to family in NZ and friends around the world, watching "Law and Order", "CSI", and "Border Security" because she is such a stickler for the rules...though she hates that Perth is such a police state. She believes most of the architecture in Perth is pretty boring and that life is pretty good right now. She will be in Asia on holiday in Oct 2007 - YAY!!
Frans is an artist, born in New Zealand and living in Australia. He is also the guitarist in Halogen, and now plays guitars and keys for She Selexx. He spends most of his time painting, and studying graphic design.
His favourite band of all time is Duran Duran, and he doesn't watch tv because his aerial is currently broken (fix the bloody thing!). He has a dog named Scrappy, who is really fluffy and cute.
Trilby is the producer of She Selexx, and also the mad scientist behind the drum and bass crew "The Resonance" and the new deep electro jazz outfit thee"Cloud Kollektiv". Trilby has been making electronic music in Perth for more than 15 years, and is the older brother of Kav Temperley from Eskimo Joe.

Howdy, howdy Jasmina. Hope all is well. What are your plans for the weekend? I have to set up a facebook account real soon. Playing a gig at Hydey on Sat night. You should come down for a few drinks?
Has the comment section of my MySpace site become a shooting gallery for my breakfasting habits? It was indeed a pleasure sharing lunches, music, teas, tales, and thrift-storing experiences with you again. Even if you did coax me into buying that horrible, horrible, sweater that got me into so much trouble with Ms D-N. I had such a wonderful time in Perth that October cannot come fast enough. So come and play the launch and let's make it a night to remember! In the meantime, be well, don’t work too hard, and keep coo-coo-cooing. BLD xxx.
heyy how are you?? thanks so much for adding me!! I bloody love your tune, it's pretty good and cool vox too! :) Great influences also keep it up hope to hear from you soon xxx
Well, thank you for asking Pork X! Yes we are working on an album, but pretty slowly at the mo, as between the three of us, there are four bands! so patience my friend (I'm still loving that version of 'Umbrella' on your site!) Jas
