My legal name is Julie (Adams) Keller, and I go by Sheta Kaey professionally. Editor by profession, writer by passion, philomath, geek, web designer and artist. My name is Sheta Kaey (that's pronounced shee-tah kay), and I'm the Editor in Chief of the occult webzine Rending the Veil. I'm also an Esoteric Nonfiction Editor for Immanion Press (Megalithica Books imprint, specifically), a relatively new and full-fledged publisher based in the U.K. I edited Kink Magic by Taylor Ellwood and Lupa, and The Heretic's Guide to Thelema by Gerald del Campo. I'm currently editing a massive tome on sanguine vampire culture. I'm also the founder of numerous web communities serving as meeting places and support groups for the spirit companion phenomenon. All together, this makes me a certifiably unusual person, so adjust your filters accordingly.
My artsy pics are self-portraits, not random images I found online. They're also idealized. My face in the active profile pic comes from a photo of me at age 19. I'm 47 now, so you do the math. ;)
Please do NOT leave enormous images in comments. Anything that stretches the page for my browser will be removed. I've got a 1440 x 900 resolution; there's no reason I should have to side-scroll, and it annoys visitors.
I'm interested in writers, artists, and certain professional entertainers. Local Houston bands are welcome, as are any other local artists who need a boost.
I'm open. Add me... unless you're soliciting a product I don't want or a gangsta rap artist. Don't add me if you want me to look at your naked photos.
Everyone here for metaphysical reasons should also add the magazine, Rending the Veil (see my friends or the banner). Read it. Contribute something to it. It's pretty nifty.
I'm not interested in adding absolutely every band on the planet. If you're an entertainer, please be sure you're of an appropriate style before adding me.
