often they were compared to bands like cathedral, sleep, my dying bride, crisis or black sabbath – but in the middle of this landscape of doom metal, the 4 girls of shEver found their very own style:
witch doom out of the deepest woods of Switzerland - slowly squealing, stormy, black and deeper than the ground.

their line-up is fixed since february 2004, exept on the drums (Sarah joined the band in summer 2007).
in 2004, the 3-track-demo THE MIRROR has been recorded.
after that, shEver gave concerts on numerous swiss stages (for example dachstock, bern / ox, zofingen / abart, zurich), and also abroad (in france @ le molodoï strasbourg, and in austria at schlachthaus dornbirn).....
a full length debut album OCEAN OF ILLUSIONS has been recorded in june 2006 at basel city studios with Dave Ponzio (DPP Production) which has been released in september 2007.
numerous positive reviews followed, be it in printed or online magazines.
in september 2007, shEver was on tour with my shameful (Fin/D) and ahab (D) through germany.
in 2008, shEver toured a lot as well, 2 concerts in Belgium, 2 concerts in Austria, some concerts in germany and a mini-tour with esoteric (UK).
in january 2009, the ep A DIALOGUE WITH THE DIMENSIONS was recorded by mario hahn (my shameful, vendetta) - it is out since june 15th 2009!
