The general in my house at the moment is my black cat Sparky. She was a stray and latched on to me at the shop where I work just before Christmas. She doesn't like me being on the computer too long and lets me know that by sitting on the keyboard.
Although I like rock music my favourite current band are the Australian funky house music band Sneaky Sound System.

Spooks, Doctor Who, New Tricks, Hustler, Corrie and Eastenders when I'm ironing - don't have much time to watch television would rather read or be on the computer.
Books
I'm massive on reading and generally go for adventure, thrillers or detective novels though I have been known to read horror, science fiction and the odd autobiography. My favourite authors in no particular order are: John Grisham, Michael Connelly, Harlan Coban, Clive Cussler, Dean Koontz and Stephen King. The best autobiography that I've read was about Freddie Mercury - one heck of a read!
About me: I live in West Yorkshire in the UK and work in a small supermarket. I enjoy the job but work too many hours there for my liking. I can think of better things to spend my time on.
I run an online business and own several websites the biggest and busiest being a general subject article directory where authors can submit articles to get links back to their websites and where webmasters can find free content.
I enjoy traveling and reading about travel so it seemed pretty natural to build a travel article directory. Every day I travel the world by proxy when I read the article submissions.
I enjoy writing and building websites - too many probably! I own 2 writing sites, 2 digital download sites about 4 blogs and at least 6 other sites. My favourite design software is XSitePro 2, it's quick to build with and updates easily. I'm currently building a UK Travel Site and plan to offer information about every area of the UK.
I'm also in a business partnership with a guy called Gary Vine. The business is music related and we have recently launched our own music download site aimed at unsigned talent. We have a second music site where we offer information and reviews of anything to do with music. Coming soon we are planning to offer a music web design and hosting service.
I've just put a new site online at Over 40s Club. The header is something else but I want it to be lively and fun.
It's all time consuming but fun, just the way I like it.
