One night in a club, four men face their destiny. They fall for the same woman who wears one of the tightest, tackiest skai dress ever. One after the other, they try to impress her but fail. To win this beautiful trophy our boys start using cheap shots at each other.
But, there is one thing though: They find out the woman has something other don’t. She’s a Boy. Tough luck. On top of that, the bloody Baileys bar just closed down. So they toast to what they found they have in common: They all play French horn for phone message tunes.
They decide to form a colorful and transformist quartet for the Queen’s Garden Parties. But, pressured by their parents they end up forming the folk music band She’s a Boy at the beginning of 2008 instead. Three months after opening their Myspace page they have a total of 27 friends.
With their tasty Bulgarian style songs they first win the hearts of women that are old enough to procreate and make them frantically rub their knees on the carpet.
Then, the manager of Cage The Elephant decided to take them under his wing. They were then contacted by sound engineer and producer Steve Fitzmaurice, who usually works with U2, Depeche Mode, Kate Nash, and Tears for Fears. Steve attends their first concert in London (West Rocks) on April 25th and they decide to record an EP.
Yet, the four men/vagabonds who travel between London, Paris, New York, and Irkoutsk, keep their feet on the ground. They know the dream might end at once and will have to continue with the family sushi-sake business. Meanwhile they sleep on their guitars, leaving no room in their bed. Do you wanna try?

Un soir, en boite de nuit, quatre hommes sont face à leur destin. Ils craquent pour la même femme, moulée dans une robe en skaï vert vraiment élégante, si on est aveugle. Ils la draguent chacun leur tour en faisant des roulades. Pour remporter ce beau trophée, nos quatre boys commencent à se battre à base de low kicks in your face. Seulement voilà, ils découvrent que leur belle a une petite chose en plus : son sexe masculin. Pas de bol quand même, en plus l'open bar Bailey's vient de finir. Ils trinquent et se découvrent un point commun : ils jouent tous du cor de chasse pour une boite de musiques d'attente téléphonique. Ils décident alors de monter un quatuor pittoresque et transformiste pour les garden parties de la Reine. Mais sous la pression de leurs parents notables, ils montent le groupe de musique folklorique She's a boy début 2008. Ils ouvrent une page myspace en janvier de la même année et totalisent aujourd'hui un nombre record de 23 friends ! Leurs chansons au bon goût bulgare séduisent primo les femmes en âge de procréer, qui frottent leurs genoux sur la moquette en signe d'hystérie. Secundo le manager du groupe Cage The Elephant, qui prend les quatre hommes sous sa coupe. Le mixeur/producteur Steve Fitzmaurice, qui travaille d'ordinaire avec U2, Depeche Mode, Kate Nash, Tears for Fears, les contacte. Steve assiste à leur premier concert à Londres (West rocks) le 25 avril 2008 et ils décident d'enregistrer un EP 4 titres . Mais les quatre hommes, saltimbanques voyageant entre Londres, Paris, New York et Irkoutsk gardent les pieds sur terre. Ils savent que le rêve peut s'arrêter du jour au lendemain et qu'ils devront reprendre l'entreprise de sushi-sake familiale. En attendant, ils dorment avec leurs guitares, qui prennent toute la place dans le lit. Do you wanna try?
