I don't like rap but there are a few exceptions. I like most all music, rock (classic, hard, alt), alt country, blue grass, blues, easy listening, etc..., anything with good guitar and good vocals. I removed all the bands I had listed because there are just too many great ones and I kept thinking of more and more. I mean really, I could fill the whole page.
Movies
Anything but stuff about the supernatural. If I'm at your house and you put a movie on about possession, I will leave.
Television
CSI, did I mention CSI, oh and by the way I like CSI. I like the new HBO series True Blood. The Dog Whisperer w/Cesar Milan. I like the Sopranos and the L word, the Young and the restless, wolf Rain. I watch anything prettymuch, EXEPT REALITY TV SHOWS.
Books
The Bible, yes I have read it all once but can read something and not remember seeing it before. Wheel of Time series, Sword of Truth series, Left Behind series, Dean Kootz, stuff like that. Really I will read anything but a biography.

We have 3 dogs. 2 are Dobermans,1 is 1/2 Shar Pei. We also have 1 cat. We are lucky to live on 5 acres (it is fenced but not escape proof). We have the underground pet fence going all the way around the house, on more than 1/2 an acre. We also have a wrap around covered porch, so our dogs have a big time when we let them out. We of course walk them a few times a day on the 5 acres, but we can also let them run loose around the house. Even in the rain they can go out and run around the gigantic covered porch. I should add that the underground fence is for supervised time only, when we are home. No dog should ever be left out when you are not home with an invisible fence. Even if they are well trained, others can get in and in excitement, they may run through it. The back of the farm is wooded and they love it. We pretty much live our lives around our dogs. My poor Mother, if I'm going to be late getting home from work, she drives out (about 30 mins),and lets them out for me. They love their Nanny so much. Thank God my husband is as sick as me when it comes to love of animals. We also have a barn but don't own anything to put in it and probably never will.
My job is Ultrasound. NO, not pregnant women, everything else. I love my job and work at a great place.

A Kansas farm wife called the local phone company to report her telephone failed to ring when her friends called - and that on the few occasions, when it did ring, her dog always moaned right before the phone rang.
The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this psychic dog or senile lady. He climbed a telephone pole, hooked in his test set, and dialed the subscriber's house.
The phone didn't ring right away, but then the dog moaned and the telephone began to ring.
Climbing down from the pole, the telephone repairman found:
1. The dog was tied to the telephone system's ground wire with a steel chain and collar.
2.. The wire connection to the ground rod was loose.
3. The dog was receiving 90 volts of signaling current when the number was called.
4. After a couple of jolts, the dog would start moaning and then urinate.
5. The wet ground would complete the circuit , thus causing the phone to ring.
Which demonstrates that some problems CAN be fixed by pissing and moaning.
