My name is Shianne Mariah Phillips. I'm 18 years old, I was born In England and moved to Canada when I was 4, I'm mixed with Jamaican & English. My goal is to be a successful recording artist because singing is my life. I'm currently enrolled in 'The Remix Project' (www.theremixproject.ca) which is an amazing program, I'm working with Boi 1da and D10(So Far Gone -Drake) as well as being mentored by Kim Davis. I grew up in a house that was always filled with music, mostly reggae and R&B, thhe singers that influenced me most were Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Etta James and Lauryn Hill .I love Kim Davis, I think she has the most amazing talent , also Jasmine Sullivan, Leona Lewis, Keyshia Cole, there are too many to list but these are my definite favourites. I Have a wide range and can do whistle notes consistently, I sing every single day. I can play the piano and guitar a little,I write and compose and absolutely love being on stage, I feel totally at home up there and know it's where I belong.
