Our story began in 2001, when the line up was larger than today, adding a keyboard and a male voice. After several changes, Shide came to their first full lenght cd: "A Shadow's Dilemma", that received great reviews by magazines such as Metal Hammer, Metal Shock and more. At the beginning of 2005 the keyboard player, the drummer and the male voice had to leave the band for personal problems. After the entry of Roberto (Cioto) Ficarella in the line up as a drummer, we decided together to keep this dreamful project called “Shide” going, with 3 instruments and one female voice, bringing remarkable changes and innovations in our compositions, which became less articulate and with a greater impact. In this page you can find the first 3 tracks of this new line up, a demo called "Sometimes, something changes". The name of demo is not casual, as it takes birth from a period of change for all of us. Enjoy :D
Shide works with Tommy DiBari and Fabio Di Credico for the soundtrack of "Sali e Tabacchi", a short film with Mingo De Pasquale, Ettore Bassi, Fabio Ferri, Dante Marmone and Tiziana Schiavelli.
Soon the release of their book "La Cambusa". Shide makes the soundtrack of their official SPOT.
