Shifted Grimm is band based in Pinellas County, Florida. The band started in 2005 after and has been playing shows in Florida ever since. The personal computer has had it's malfunctions, but it was decided later that it was the most valuable and dedicated member to date.
Not bad, actually. Although all my most recent bands broke up, I started working at it from a different perspective. Right now, I'm the production director for K-zoo's radio station (WIDR), which means I record/create all the commercials and also do live sound for in-studio performances. It's the best job I've ever had, and I get paid to be a lazy asshole basically. I'm also playing bass in a classic-rock styled band led by former JJCS guitarist Kyle, and apparently I'm not that bad a bassist....also just finishing up my first REAL solo record (as the HATE Noise)...and I'll definitely send you a copy of that as soon as I master it. You'll also be on there somewhere...I was digging through my crate of cassettes from our olden days for weird little interludes and samples to use on the CD, and I found a 1/2-hour song we made about Jeff Carr that I'm definitely sampling. Also, some classic Jesuses quotes like "Shithead! You dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb DUMB SHITHEAD" (you) and "How about you take six? Take six fuckin' rat poisons and die!" (me).
Anyhow...I'm going to order that CD right now because I have money for once. What are you doing this summer? We should figure out a way to play another show together. We've got a car and could probably take a week off and visit or something. Looking forward to hearing this stuff, since it's been a LONG time since I've heard some of your tracks that are my favorites.
