The album consists of all new material. 18 tracks moving from traditional hip-hop to a cappella poetry, with selections produced by Dert, Benny Tones, D'mon Fingaz and Dro The Least. It's Poetry the way only a few can deliver - intelligent, free flowing, fresh as can be, and with plenty of substance and style. 'Full Time' a live DVD featuring performances and over an hour of previously never relased footage is being released 1st quarter 2009.

For the past 10 years, Shihan has been co-hosting Da' Poetry Lounge, the nation's largest open mic night held in Hollywood, CA. This very busy man is also the official producer of Spoken Word Fest at the Pan African Film Festival (the world's largest and most prestigious black film festival), and is currently working on a follow up to 'The Poet' tentatively titled 'The Balance.'

YOOOOOO SHIHAN!!!!! I love ur work man, I got a little confession, I was the type of person that hated poetry and poets, I felt it was dumb, but last week in skool we was watching def poetry jam, nd just as I was about 2 fall asleep u came on wit "This type love" nd I was amazed, I never thought poetry could be fun smooth cool nd funny at the same time lol u inspired me 2 get into poetry nd now I love it thanks shihan, nd please comment bak :) lol
