Shiku Garu is an art concept by Chicago artist James Beckman (aka Justin Hemmingson). It is one of three modes in which Mr Beckman produces art. While shiku garu is an illustration project, Dreamlogicc and drmlgcc are electronic music projects, and "the james beckman project" is a fine art (primarily abstract painting) project
all 3 modes are part of the 3 central concepts. History - both personal and universal. Time - How information is preserved. Layers - how quantum events change us, M theory in this respect, and how these layers create the patterns we know in any given moment.
As for Shiku Garu's more localized concepts - "...Shiku Garu is about the social ills that collect like stalactites amongst our thoughts and actions. Our mental environments produce different configurations of these growths - and as they grow throughout our lives, they act as filters, shaping what we think, and expect, of ourselves and those around us."
