In August 2004 Jon and Helgi had the oportunity to go to Finland and play at a very strange music festival. As fate would have it, the band met another Iceland rock band, in which a certain Laki Thor played the guitar, playing at the same festival. And in a very strange little Finnish town, Thor was forcefully made to listen to some material that Jon had been composing for some time. Such was Thor's interest in the material that in early 2005 Jon, Helgi and Thor decided to form a new band.
As enthusiastic as they were, having formed the new band and all, one important part was still missing. The drummer. The very minute this hit them, they put out a search for one. A search that would be, it seemed, a near endless endeavour. Audition after audition, the guys thought they would never find what they were looking for. But, at the point of break up, the gods finally answered their prayers! Enter Martin; our long sought after drummer.
Currently, Shima is writing new material and performing locally.
