Shimmy Armageddon is a belly dance troupe formed by the ladies in Black Pig Border Morris. We also have one male dancer, Craig who occasionally dances with us. We perform a fusion of Middle Eastern dance styles. We dance with various props including veils, swords, canes, candles, zills (finger cymbals)and Isis Wings.
We generally dance out as the sister act to Black Pig Border Morris with the Black Pig Roadshow, and we have performed all over the UK.

That dance was amazing, they really did you proud! Love the choreography of that.. And the guy you have dancing as well really added to the group. Good on him for dancing in apredominantly 'female' dance (all though we all know it isn't).
We raised £432 which we were really pleased with but we are all kackered now and in need of a rest. Mind you. at 5pm last night we were all texting each other to say we couldn't cope with the hassle and this was to be our last Hafla ever... However, halfway through we all changed our minds!
Hope your arm is feeling better soon, going to have another bourbon now (Wild Turkey) and chill. Kids are in bed so feel an episode of 'Buffy' coming on.
