The revving engine of a '65 Mustang...with Ann Wilson behind the wheel...
SHINE first formed in the early '90s in Walpole, MA, when
Rob Murray (guitar), Jim Murray (bass) and Scott
SanGiacomo (drums) began playing together under the
name "Say Hello to Ian." In 1997, now called SHINE,
they enlisted singer Kate Kenney. In 1998, their debut CD
"Java Love" was released, with "Oregon" getting play on
local radio. SHINE's infectious riff-rock toured up and down
the east coast playing some of rocks most celebrated
clubs-CBGB, Mama Kin, The Middle East & The Bitter
End , just to name a few. In 1999 SHINE played their final
show at a small coffee house in Norwood, MA. The show
was a simple acoustic set, a stark contrast from the bands
usual bombast.
The summer of 2005 will see the return of SHINE, For
the first time in 5 years; SHINE will take the stage- full-on.
