Shine River is the ultimate, hardworking, all-American band. The mission is simple: write, record, and perform the best rock n’ roll music possible, while maintaining professional composure always. The music of Shine River is a golden portal to a wild shindig chock-full of adventures on the river bank. The captivating energy produced while listening to Shine River evokes imagery laden in southern roots and classic rock. Many musicians and bands seek their whole life to find that perfect recipe of sound, but few are blessed to have actually found it.
Shine River is not afraid to embrace their “southern” sound since it comes effortlessly, but they seem to have found a way to encapsulate a plethora of rawness into one band. The reaction that one receives at a Shine River show is that of excitement, and immediate addiction. A few comments from attendees at a Shine River show have included; "I couldn't believe what just happened... you totally wowed my senses", "You guys are gonna go far, keep rockin!", "Where the hell did ya'll come from?", "Sign my CD", "I want to buy your shirt", "Let me buy you a beer man!", and of course "I really enjoyed your guys set!". The common feedback has been very clear, pure stupefacation. Two things you will notice at any show: 1.) The listener/viewer can actually believe what they are seeing and hearing is real, and then their senses are sent into orbit while dancin' like there's no tomorrow. OR 2.) They are left with their mouth open in bewilderment and have to sit down and think about what was just bestowed upon them. Either way it happens to you, it is guaranteed you will not soon forget the intense grandeur.
You will hear a beckon call to legendary bands and artists such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Ted Nugent, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, ZZ Top, Grand Funk Railroad, and The Allman Brothers, but Shine River is able to whittle sound into one stick of rock dynamite.
