    .. .... Biography.... Shingo Suwa was born 1978 in Japan. He began his career as a producer/DJ in 2004, started to produce his original music with japanese analog machine and laptop, he performed live around in Tokyo. Since time of his childhood, he begun to listen to classical music, jazz by influence of his mother who was a classic piano teacher. And he began to get interested in techno, House, old Hip-hop, soul and funk at age 15. learned a produce technic from many music introduced from Europe, detroit and chicago originally. finally he moved to Berlin to realize the target as a artist in late 2005. Since summer of 2007 he acquires experience in clubs such as Maria, Bar25 and etc. Now presently he working as a DJ, live-act and party organization of Berlin's party scene, positively has been active as the label owner of MERKUR Schallplatten. It was accepted by Diamonds and pearls music label which influential artists (Ricardo villarobos, Luciano, Matt john, Henrik Schwarz, Cassy and more) released in the electric music scene of Berlin, And he began own label to release his originality tracks. His tracks will make up a dance floor more deeply, groove will be dope and solid, a sequence including a minimal element, and melody goes sometimes crazy and funky. .... .. .... There is a thrilling coexistence of various culture and music styles in the european-central city of berlin as well as in the asian city of tokyo. MERKUR is based in both cities. This schizophrenic situation gives us the privilege to exchange creative processes from one culture to another and allows us to develop an unorthodox blend of music that points into the future. .. MERKUR was started by shingo suwa in 2008. He is a producer/DJ who moved from Tokyo to berlin in late 2005 to start his own label. Affected by berlins infectious techno scene he started his own label to release music which carries as well his asian roots as the new european influences. (by Diamonds and Pearls music) .... ..

The second release from MERKUR aka Japasese Embassy is coming. We can expect an exciting and unexpected 3 tracker which does not fit in any conventional category. Gonno, Tokyo based Producer and DJ, has graped everyones attetion with his outstanding “I Don’t Need Competition (inkl. Donnacho Costello Mix)” on Beyond Records in late winter 2008. For MERKUR he has designed the acid-revival track “Desolation 303?. This track is build on a tricky chicago styled rhythm and an acid sequence which first comes slowly, later on developing an beautiful drive suitable on every dancefloor. Berlin based japanese artist / label owner Shingo Suwa painted the tune “Silver Blue” with a lot of love for chords and melodic spins. Maybe you can call it Housemusic knocked down to a minimal attitude. “Two of Us” plays with warm synths on a solid base, slightly referring to the Detroit Deep House Culture and impressing with an advanced but nevertheless solid groove. ....
