Starting his currier with Anthem vocalist Eizo Sakamoto's studio work, Shinichi Kobayashi has contributed his talents in various genres including recording guitar tracks for TV commercials, composing/arranging, transcribing, and also appearing on Eizo Sakamoto's solo album.
Recognized by his playing In heavy-rock band R-ONE, he endorses with ESP/SHECTER guitars and contributes in the development of the 7-string guitar.
Appears in an instructional video for 7-string guitar, columnist of "Nanagen-no Hoshi" appearing on the magazine Young Guitar (discontinued).
Also author of various guitar instructional books including "Jigoku no Mechanical Training Phrase (Mechanical exercise phrases from hell)", "Jigoku no Mechanical Training Phrases ~Intense techniques for Love and Ascension" (Published by Rittor Music).
Starting a new lecture column on Guitar Magazine from April, 2007.
Right now, plays in rock band Blood IV lead by Takashi Inoue (ConcetoMoon). Performs intensely not only in Japan but spreads their music touring Mexico and South Korea.
Also plays in super band "Jigoku Quartet" with vocalist NOV (AION) bass player MASAKI (ex-Animetal, CANTA) drummer GO (SUNSOWL), holds clinics for 7-string guitar through out Japan, and teaches guitar regularly at MI Japan's guitar course GIT-DX.

As well as strengthening of the left hand fingering, this book has a wide range of contents such as strengthening of the right hand picking,strengthening of guitar technique and transcendent phrase
collections.Because there are three practice phrases along with the abstruse phrases,which is the feature of this book, it is a good practice book even for the beginners. Also, the demonstration performance and karaoke are collected to the attached CD and DVD.
