About Shining Hour

What happens when rival musicians decide to join forces ? For Shining Hour, the product is an unexpectedly pleasing creative tension. A collision between fm modern rock and melancholy punk, Greg Whitbeck (Tourist, Morning Maker) and Brock Pytel (Doughboys, Mongoose) have a fondness for edgy pop songs (and fine cigars) in common. The two are foiled by Jeff Gantner, a Saskatchyukonian bass player with a knack for vocal harmonies and a goofball sense of humour.
