I wouldn't mind meeting the new pope. He looks like such a sweety. Seriously. I'd love for him to take my confession. I'd really like to meet Sam Shaber or Anne Donohue or Eleni Mandell because I really admire their sound. And I sure wouldn't mind meeting my friend Terri for a drink some time, if we could just get someone to drive us!

    i'm leaving tommorow actually. i'm just prepping my status cause i'm so excited to get out of marquette. we'll pretty much be in ann arbor saturday and leave sunday. it's short but totally worth it

    I think he's good, I coddled him for a while and finally got him onto a low branch. He stayed there for about 30 minutes and then I finally scared him away. He flew, so I think he's fine...I think...As for the balloon ride, it was amazing! Not scary at all except the take off. It wasn't cold until we got 5300 ft up and broke through the haze level. It was a lot chillier up there. Definitely something anybody could do.
    Not a problem at all, and I was nervous!!

    There is something about the banjo... it's hard to explain my love for the sound. I got to pluck the banjo for a few minutes at a friend's studio the other day and it brought me such peace. I need one in my life... I also need a 12-string Taylor...
