About me:
Updated 09/01/08

Companies I work with:

I am the Executive Producer & Founding Partner of the Project Twenty1 Film & Animation Festival, which hosts the 21-Day Filmmaking Competition, where Teams of Filmmakers & Animators have 21-Days to create an original film based on a common secret "Element", and the Philadelphia Film-A-Thon which is a showcase of exceptional shorts and features from all over the world.

Shinygrape Studios, is an independent animation studio based out of Bensalem, Pennsylvania and The Greater Philadelphia Area. We provide graphic design, marketing & animation services to projects of all sizes.

I frequently write & produce with Cinevore Studios, a live-action narrative fiction company based out of Norristown, PA and the Greater Philadelphia Area. Our most recent short, "Piece of Meat" was featured in late August of 2008 as the 1 Comedy in 20 Countries on YouTube.

Crystalline Studios is a HD commercial video company that Shinygrape Studios frequently partners with for graphics, animation, and marketing assistance.

Projects:
"Piece of Meat," is a deranged parody of the Britney Spears song "Piece of Me". In this Cinevore Studios original music video, the alluring yet disturbing lead, Brittany Brazill, causes a good deal of sexual confusion with her inappropriate love and pursuit of all things animal.

The vocals were recorded by Mo a.k.a. Young Sinatra with vocals by Erika Schiff, featuring DJ Q-Ball. The video, produced by Stephanie Yuhas and Matt Conant, also features cameos by comedian Paul DellAngelo, and James Rolfe, better known to youtube viewers as The Angry Video Game Nerd.

NSFW. A deluded office worker uses Valentine's Day as his excuse to finally come clean about a bizarre office crush.

Winner: Best Directing and Audience Choice Award at the 48 Hour Film Project 2008 Philadelphia!

Directed by Gary Hanna

This film was collaboratively produced by Psynema, Cinevore Studios  and ShinyGrape Studios.

Nagymama is an auto-biographical animated short about growing up with a very overprotective Transylvanian grandmother. And yes, the story is true (and Nagymama is still causing chaos today, at the age of 97!

"Nagymama" was recently featured on the front pages of YouTube, MySpace, Frederator & Crackle, and exhibited at a bunch of film festivals and broadcast on Nicktoons, which has over 45,000,000 subscribers worldwide.

If you would like to see more Nagymama stories, visit American Goulash!

American Goulash is the continuation of the tale of Nagymama, with the addition of the rest of the family! Read stories, watch videos, collect authentic old-world recipes, and post some of your own family experiences in this interactive blog-style website!
Wiccan Chicken

Jersey Fresh: Tales of the Wiccan Chicken, is an animated sitcom pitch about a little chicken who happens to be the son of the Devil - the NEW JERSEY Devil

"Jersey Fresh" was one of two pitches accepted to be a presented at the Ottawa "Pitch THIS!" Television Animation Conference. If you'd like to "get to know" Wiccan Chicken, you can talk to him on MySpace or read his online stories, comics, and HorrorScopes on WiccanChicken.com

Gestation Sensation explores a male seahorse's discomfort during pregnancy. The film was traditionally animated at the Philadelphia University of the Arts under thirty days.

Why thirty days? Well, believe it or not, I began production on a film called Fabian Fish, a tale about a clownfish and a yellow tang trying to escape from a fishbowl (but the clownfish keeps forgetting "the plan" every few seconds.)

A month before the due date, my professor played the "teaser" for Finding Nemo. Great. I was basically in mid-production of the freakin "Dentists Office" scene in that movie - annoying pig-tailed, brace-faced girl and all! What the heck are the odds of that? So, I created Gestation Sensation and prayed that there wouldn't be a scene in Finding Nemo of a seahorse exploding into a cloud of babies! (It didn't happen! I'm still safe!)

Awesome job with the "Piece of Meat" video! I apparently live a life sheltered from the rest of the world because I hadn't seen the original Britney Spears song that it parodied. So I watched that on YouTube and it made "Piece of Meat" all the more enjoyable - especially since the Britney Spears song seems to have clucks too! Keep up the good work. You're listed as a producer.
What did that entail?
