About SHIPPEY MANDOLINS

Hello, I’m Paul Shippey. I make mandolins, citterns and bouzoukis. Over the past 20 years or so, I’ve made instruments for some great players and great people. When I’m not sticking bits of wood together I play with a band called ’The Fallen Apples’. At the moment I’m developing a new range of electric mandolins. Rick	Apr 30 2008 8:10 PM I love that song...THE DOUBLE EAGLE...it reminds me of my childhood in the Ozarks...my mother owned a night spot called Loafer's Corner, I would lay on a quilt near the back door and listen to the bands on the weekends...a mandolin always sounded so happy.
