The Ship Victory pub in Chester is named after Admiral Nelsons Flagship, and
features
lots of memorabilia of the Man, his Ship and his battles- particularly
Trafalgar.
The pub serves excellent beer and is in the camera 'good beer guide'

together with football and cricket. Joe, the landord is a Liverpool fan, but the
pub is home to the Chester Branch of the Manchester City supporters club. The
pub is open from 12 noon until midnight on all nights except bank holidays.
Joe and Ruth (landlord and landlady) tragically lost their daughter, Angela
to breast cancer in 2002, and since then have raised over £60,000 for the
countess of chester hospital breast care appeal through their 'Angela Gildea
Memorial Fund' The pub runs an active web site with adverts and offers that pay
commission to the charity- please have a look (and a click or two) at
