Sounds Like
Take a listen... trying not to sound like anybody, just original, good music that everybody will like and get something out of to counteract the modern disaster of popular music.
If we had to say so though, it's kinda like Allman Brothers Band meets Dave Matthews Band meets a little Elton John and Johnny Cash after they two of them just drank four scorpion bowls mixed with some crazy, fast guitar solos that get soulful as hell and then make you want to quit practicing your guitar and add in a little funky James Brown with a sprinkle of Bruce Hornsby, Eric Clapton, U2, The Boss and James Taylor all while standing on Blues Traveler's tour bus to enjoy the scenery and smoke a stogie. Something like that... ???
Out of SouthCoast Massachusetts, Shipyard Wreck is an original bluesy-funky-rock band that writes with originality, produces original albums and performs stunning, live shows. The band has shared the stage with names such as Dickie Betts & The Great Southern, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, The Jerry Garcia Band with Melvin Seals, John Waite, Neal McCarthy Problem, Craig Demelo, LemonStone, Bob's Day Off, Patrick McAloon Band and Entrain. The band's debut studio album, "Reflect & Shine" (2004 - Whaling City Sound), has been included in several episodes of MTV's MADE, aired on radio waves across the U.S. and other countries consistently, and keeps pushing further and further everyday. The band is currently working on its second album.

.. Hi there Shipyard Wreck first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people you can click the link below to visit our profile which wlil provide you with more information and also give you the link to our website! I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
Holy Awesome Pictures! Thanks a bunch for the great night and all the pics from last Friday :) Can't wait for the whole band on July 5th...that's gonna be insane! :)
Hey James! Sarah is bartending at the Hatch tonight and I'll be there later on. I have a retirement party to go to, but I'll be there afterwards. I promise! :) I put out a bulletin, and I'll do a mass text message to my friends. See you later! Leigh :)
