About me: I'm 26...I'm Iranian American and damn proud of my "axis-of-evil" heritage...I am an offcial citizen of two different countries...I'm the godmother to the most amazing baby boy...there is nothing more calming than climbing into sheets fresh out of the dryer after a I've taken a shower...I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsting, and Joni Mitchell...I think that Eddie Izzard is quite possibly the most genius comic alive...I'm one of those people who considers their dog a part of their family...My friends become my family and family means everything to me...I actually like working out, but I rarely have the motivation to go do it...I'm not a girly-girl...but not really a tom boy either...I loved school...I'm a scifi nerd...I'm a little ocd about certain things...I'm a daddy's girl...I love looking at other photographer's work...the love of my life is almost 5 years old...I have issues saying no...I talk a big game, but I hate confrontation...I can be a pushover...I am so not a morning person...It's best for you not to talk to me for at least 2 hours after I wake up...I'm fiercly protective of the people I care about...I have issues with change...I'm hyper-aware of my faults...I'm a libral (gasp!)...I've been to too many Britney Jean and NSYNC concerts to count...I'm a photographer but not every photograph I take is awesome...I'm a writer but everything I write isn't great...and that's okay...Grammar and spelling mistakes drive me crazy...but I make my fair share...I'm awful at keeping in touch...but that doesn't mean I care any less...I'm extremely sarcastic...I'm insecure...I collect oversized coffee mugs...I don't drink coffee that much...My favorite memory of college is spending hours talking to my roommies in the hallway between our bedrooms...I take everything personally...I hate to fail...I worry about what other people think...I love, love, love traveling...I've been to Europe and Iran and I need to go back soon...the hardest thing I've ever done was say goodbye to my family in Iran...I don't break the spines of books when I read them...I read a lot...I love playing in the rain...I think torturing my old roommate with birds is funny...I love the smell of peppermint...I put my foot in my mouth...a lot...I can be really shy...which apparently comes off as bitchy, who knew...I can't believe they killed Starbuck...I'm good at seeing both sides of a situation...except when it comes to politics...The best thing during the winter is peppermint hot chocolate with Willam and Sonoma giant marshmallows...Without my friends I would probably go insane...I love scary, twisted, dark movies...I love falling asleep to the sound of rain against the house...I'm a total work in progress...my life is miles from where I thought I would be at 26...I'm trying to be okay with that...stupid people annoy me...I love a good nap...I love musicals, especially Rent...I over analyze...I watch way too much fraking tv...I'm an only child...I believe in Karma...I [heart] Target...I need a big girl job...My eyelashes are tickleish

I in fact did not die after the half marathon. I went straight to brunch and enjoyed a bloody mary. No lie. I crashed a few minutes after that though. MISS YOU MORE!
