Shir is a complete Jewish music group - Klezmer, Israeli, Sephardi, Yiddish, Ladino and Simcha music all mix together to create a spontaneous, energetic and soulful musical experience.
The quartet recently celebrated 10 years playing together during which time it has become a regular item on the UK Jewish music scene playing numerous functions and concerts (events for UJIA, Jewish care, World Jewish Relief and WIZO, Limmud, Trafalgar Square, St John Smith Square).
Last year the band toured Spain and have recently been invited to Klezfiesta in Argentina later this year.
Shir have recorded 2 CDs: "From The Heart" and "Israeli Songs" (ARC Records), both available through the band's website.
Available for all functions, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, parties, charity events, concerts and workshops.
