General
I love to read, snow ski, listen to music, watch a good movie, practice yoga, walk and bike ride along the beautiful Willamette River, visit with friends and spend time with my family.
Music
I’m very eclectic in my musical tastes; I love everything from good ole rock and roll to classical to folk. Some of my favorite groups and performers (both new and old) are: Matthew Chase, Fleetwood Mac, John Mayer, the Moody Blues, Coldplay, Neil Diamond, Led Zeppelin, U2, Santana and James Blunt.
Movies
This is a hard one. A few of my favorite movies are: Ghost, The Babysitter’s Seduction, Titanic, Star Wars, The Trilogy of the Ring and most of the James Bond movies. My favorite movie genres are: mystery, science fiction and fantasy, comedy, action/adventure, and romantic comedy.
Television
I don’t watch a lot of TV, but some of the shows I do watch fairly regularly include: Moonlight, Two and a Half Men, Monk, CSI and CSI Miami, Masterpiece Theatre, House, Mystery and The Big Bang Theory.
Books
This one is REALLY hard! As far as authors go, I think the list has to include Laurell K. Hamilton, Charlaine Harris, James Patterson, John Grisham, Dean Koontz, Kim Harrison, Ken Follett and Maeve Binchy.

I was born in Los Angeles, but moved to San Francisco at a young age. I’m currently
married with children and live in Eugene, Oregon, home of the University of Oregon’s
fighting Ducks! I’ve written a syndicated newspaper column, sold movies to ABC,
NBC and CBS, and authored 15 novels, the latest being the Sarah Woolson historical
mystery series: MURDER ON NOB HILL, THE RUSSIAN HILL MURDERS, and THE CLIFF HOUSE
STRANGLER. I love to write and am currently working on the 4th book in the series
