Are we a band? Maybe.....depends......... the original core of this band has disbanded...... the singer, benjamin, has moved away...far away.... to a magical land called Los Angeles to pursue his passion for acting......... chris, has stayed behind and is currently playing in an acoustic indie pop band called warn the boy........ after two years of nothingness for shirtlifter, chris decided to go in the studio to record some old shirtlifter songs along w/ a few brand new ones.......... so he recruited the drummer, guitarist, and bassist of a month of somedays to lay down the music...... he then flew out to cali w/ the recordings and had benjamin lay down his vocals ............ jumped on a plane back to chicago...... contacted jenny choi who laid down some vocals/piano/cello.............. mixed a few of 'em and ta da....... benjamin will be in the chicagoland area from the end of Februay til mid May so plan on catching a shirtlifter show during those months.......... so are we a band........ mabe....depends...... hopefully.....
